La Real Casa de la Aduana fue la primera Estafeta Postal del Puerto de la Cruz, creada por Real Orden de 2 de Abril de 1784, de la que nuestro Grupo Filatélico conmemoró el 220 aniversario el año 2004 con un matasellos especial. The Royal House of Customs was first Postal Mail Office of Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife Island) , created by Royal Order 2nd April 1784, and our Philatelic Group commemorated the 220th anniversary past 2004 with a special postmark.
Hoy presentamos un documento postal inédito hasta la fecha. Es una carta remitida por
D. Alonso Pereyra desde el Puerto de Orotava (hoy Puerto de la Cruz) ,
en la isla de Tenerife, a Don Today we present an unpublished postal document to date. It is a letter sent by D. Alonso Pereyra from the Port of Orotava (today Puerto de la Cruz), in the island of Tenerife, to Don Felipe Massieu in the island of La Palma, dated 22nd May 1775, received thirty five days later, the 26th June (Up note). A shipment of a cheese of Flandes announces, with the mark to the margin in recognition of gratitud.
Sírvase usted hacer presentes a mi Señora Doña Thomasa mis respetos. Nuestro Señor (ilegible) Puerto de la Orotava y Mayo 22 de 1775. Alonso Pereyra" The text says: "Dear sir and owner. (illegible) Lucas Padilla that makes trip to that island will give to you a cheese of Flandes with the mark at the margin that will use you to send, to perceive and to admit that short expression of my gratefulness and send to you this as flattery. Accept you this present to my Lady Doña Thomasa and my respect. Our Lord (illegible) Port of Orotava May 22nd of 1775. Alonso Pereyra"

The last edition of popular "Romería" was celebrated in Tegueste (Island of Tenerife) that every year reunites in the locality people arrivals of all the corners of the Canary Islands. Once again, by initiative of the Philatelic and Numismatic Group the Cypress, with the economic collaboration of the Most excellent City council of Tegueste, has been made a special postmark that today we display. Nevertheless it was not possible to make the philatelic exhibition that was predicted to make, it will be in another ocasión.

Como todos los años , se celebra entre los días 1 al 3 de Mayo en Santa Cruz de Tenerife, la Exposición Regional de Flores y Plantas, que en esta edición se ha trasladado desde el Parque "García y Sanabria" a la Plaza de España debido a las obras de remodelación del primero. Like every year, is celebrated between days 1st to 3th of May in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the Regional Exhibition of Flowers and Plants, that in this edition have been transfered from the Park "García and Sanabria" to the Square of Spain due to works of remodeling of first.
Nos sorprende este año el conjunto de esculturas dedicadas al Quijote que combinan perfectamente con el ambiente de la exhibición. We surprises this year the set of sculptures dedicated to the Quijote that combine perfectly with the atmosphere of the exhibition.
The Special postmark which flatters us the Most excellent City council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is dedicated to the Kickxia Scoparia (Tip of pajarito), a canary endemc flower; one is a raised bush plant, very little graft whose leaves have the branchs short and not twisted. Their flowers are of yellow color and have a spur.

El Museo está situado en la planta baja del
I.E.S. Mencey
Acaymo y tiene carácter permanente, pretendiendo difundir a través
de Güímar la universalidad de la obra de Cervantes.
The Museum is located in the ground floor of the
I.E.S. Mencey Acaymo and has permanent character, trying to spread through Güímar the
universal work of Cervantes.
Between days 18 and 22 it was possible to be enjoyed a monographic philatelic exhibition dedicated to the Quijote and Spanish
Literature. D. Pedro Hernandez Mounts of Oca, which we see observing
his magnific collection, he was one of the participants.

- Catalogamos los matasellos especiales de Canarias desde 1994 hasta el 2005. (seguiremos ampliándolo, próximamente 1993). -Catalogamos los rodillos de Canarias desde 1997 al 2005.

Felipe Massieu en la isla de la Palma,
fechada el 22 de Mayo de 1775, recibida treinta y cinco días después,
el 26 de Junio del mismo año (Nota del margen superior). En la misma se
anuncia el envío de un queso de Flandes, con la marca al margen en
reconocimiento de gratitud. 
Se celebró en Tegueste (Isla de
Tenerife) la última edición de la romería popular que todos los años
reúne en la localidad a gentes llegadas de todos los rincones de
Canarias. Una vez mas, por iniciativa del Grupo Filatélico y
Numismático el Ciprés, con la colaboración económica del
Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Tegueste, se ha realizado un
matasellos especial que hoy presentamos. Sin embargo no fue posible
realizar la exposición filatélica que se tenía previsto realizar,
será en otra ocasión.
El matasello con el que nos obsequia el
Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife está dedicado a
la Kickxia Scoparia (Pico de pajarito), un endemismo canario ; se trata de una planta arbustiva erguida, muy poco
ramificada cuyas hojas tienen los pecíolos cortos y no retorcidos.
Sus flores son de color amarillo y poseen un espolón.
Entre los días 18 y 22 se pudo disfrutar de una exposición
filatélica monográfica dedicada al Quijote y a la Literatura
española. D. Pedro Hernández Montes de Oca , al que vemos observando
su magnífica colección, fue uno de los participantes.
