Tenemos el gran honor de anunciar la celebración, entre los días 17 al 23 de Octubre de 2005 en la sala de Exposiciones del Museo Iberoamericano en la calle Tomás Zerolo de la Villa, la Magna Exposición que tendrá carácter competitivo y que conmemora el 500 aniversario de la Fundación de la Villa de La Orotava.
We have the great honor to announce the celebration, between days 17th to 23th of October 2005 in the exhibition hall of the Latin American Museum at Tomás Zerolo Street of the Villa, the Magna Exhibition will have competitive character that commemorates the 500th anniversary of the Foundation of Villa of the Orotava.
Organized by the Philatelic and Numismatic Group "Las Pintaderas", with the sponsorship of the Most Excellent City Council of Villa of the Orotava, counting on the collaboration of the State Society of Post Office and Telegraphs SL, the Most Excellent Insular Town hall of Tenerife, the National Factory of Currency and Timbre (FNMT), the National Federation of Philatelic Societies (FESOFI) and the Canary Federation of Philatelic Societies (FECASOFI).
Recordemos que se ha logrado la concesión de un sello de correos que se emitirá en esas fechas. Este hecho supondrá la realización de al menos dos matasellos, el de la propia exposición y el de primer día de uso, una gran noticia para la filatelia canaria. Recordamos que este año ya se ha utilizado un rodillo mecánico que reproducimos aquí. Let us remember the concession for an official stamp of Spanish post office that will be emitted in those dates. This fact will suppose the accomplishment of at least two mecanic postmarks, one for the own exhibition and the other for first day of use. Great news for Canary philately ! En otras ocasiones, es el descubrimiento el que hace único el elemento que tenemos delante preparado para su estudio. Esta es una de esas ocasiones en las que vale la pena las horas de lectura, estudio y búsqueda, un sacrificio que no resulta inutil. La suma de conocimientos que vamos acumulando a lo largo de nuestra actividad investigadora completa los estudios que otros han realizado antes que nosotros en la Prefilatelia y nos termina invadiendo una sensación de satisfacción. El documento postal que presentamos es una envuelta que contenía una carta enviada desde SANTA FE DE INDIAS O BOGOTÁ en Colombia dirigida textualmente a "Doña Juana Semenia vive en el callejón de la cabra en Cádiz" .
The postal document we present is one letter that contained a letter sent from SANTA FE OF INDIANS or BOGOTA in Colombia, directed textually to "Doña Juana Semenia lives in the back alley of the goat in Cadiz".
Santa Fe de Indias, from 1820 Santa Fe de Bogota, capital of Colombia. Founded in 1538 by Don Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada. In 1540 Carlos V, granted to the title of City and the shield of arms. It was capital of the New Kingdom of Granada, soon Province, seat of the Virreinato, Real Hearing, Military Captain-General, Jurisdiction and Archbishopric. Its main exit to the sea in the Atlantic coast was by Cartagena de Indias, route that with complete certainty this letter made.

In the frontal, we can observed the linear mark SANTA FÈ in red, used from 1782 to 1803, catalogued PE.2 in volume III of the edition of 1983 of "NEW STUDY OF PREFILATELIC OF SPAIN, THE POSTAL MARKS OF SPAIN AND ITS DOMINIONS OF INDIANS. CENTURIES XVIII AND XIX", by Manuel Tizón and Jorge Guinovart. Also we can observe the beautiful stamping of the charge 6R, six real in red, which the letters were appraised coming from America.
But the surprising thing is in the back, it is a mark of arrival to Cadiz of year 1786 with a down filigree of the year, tipped to the right and inserted in a box with straight corners, everything in red color. Also the inverse mark of charge of another transferred letter can be observed to be the ink fresh.
The other mark of well-known arrival to date in box, was the one that we displayed in the inferior picture, used in black between 1756 to 1757 and red between 1764 to 1769 - catalogued as PE.43 of Cadiz - as the filigree can be observed, it is centered and but narrow. It accompanies another mark to the letter in the front of arrival, Oct.bre - PE.44 of Cadiz - that indicates the month, it was used very few months and in company of previous - PE.43 -. This mark of charge 6R is considered the first used in Spain not written by hand. It corresponds to a Letter sent from Genoa to Cadiz in 1756 recently auctioned by "Seville Auctions"

NUEVO CURSO UNIVERSITARIO DE LA UNED EXPERTO PROFESIONAL EN FILATELIA Y NUMISMÁTICA NEW UNIVERSITY COURSE OF " PROFESSIONAL EXPERT IN PHILATELY AND NUMISMATIC" BY UNED UNIVERSITY |

The "National University of Long Distance - UNED" will distribute from November 2005 to June 2006 the next academic year, the mentioned course. Those who passes the tests established will obtain the University Title of Professional Expert in Philately and Numismatic.
The educational staff will be integrated by teachers of the own UNED and presidents of the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Societies (FESOFI) , Don Fernando Aranaz , the Spanish Association of Numismatic Professionals (AENP), Don Juan Cayón and the Spanish Numismatic Association (ANE), Don Josép Pellicer. Aunque el mismo vaya dirigido principalmente a profesionales de la filatelia y la numismática, en él podrán participar cualquier persona que así lo desee sin requisito alguno de titulación o experiencia. Philately and Numismatics, also will be able to participate any person who therefore
wishes, without requirement
of degree or experience in it. Thanks to the agreement signed with FESOFI the affiliated of any philatelic society will enjoy a discount of 20% in the price of the matriculation, whose term will be from the 1st to the 30th of September 2005. Organizada por el Grupo
Filatélico y Numismático "Las Pintaderas" , con el

Muchas
veces, al adquirir un lote aparecen cartas interesantes para un
coleccionista, por muchas razones podemos encontrar una característica
que por minúscula que parezca, nos ayuda a completar nuestra
colección. Pasa a formar parte de un todo.
Santa
Fe de Indias, desde 1820 Santa fe de Bogotá, capital de Colombia. Fundada en el
año 1538 por Don Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada. En 1540 Carlos V, le
concedió el título de Ciudad y el escudo de armas. Fue capital del
Nuevo Reino de Granada, luego Provincia , sede del Virreinato, Real
Audiencia, Capitanía General , Jurisdicción y Arzobispado. Su salida
principal al mar en la costa Atlántica era por Cartagena de Indias, ruta que con toda
seguridad realizó esta carta. 
En
el frontal se puede observar la marca lineal SANTA
FÈ en rojo , utilizada desde 1782 hasta 1803, catalogada PE.2 en el tomo III-
de la edición de 1983 de "PREFILATELIA DE ESPAÑA, NUEVO ESTUDIO DE LAS
MARCAS POSTALES DE ESPAÑA Y SUS DOMINIOS DE INDIAS. SIGLOS XVIII y XIX",
de Manuel Tizón y Jorge Guinovart. También podemos observar la
bella estampación del porteo 6R
, seis reales en rojo, con el que se tasaban las cartas venidas de
América.
Pero
lo mas sorprendente lo tenemos al dorso, se trata de una marca de
llegada de Cádiz del año 1786 con una filigrana en la parte inferior
del año, ladeada a la derecha e insertadas en un recuadro con las
esquinas rectas, todo en color rojo. También se puede observar la marca
inversa del porteo de otra carta transferido por estar la tinta fresca.
La otra marca de llegada conocida hasta la fecha en recuadro,
era la que presentamos en la parte inferior, utilizada en negro
entre 1756 y1757 y rojo entre 1764
y 1769 -
catalogadas como PE.43 de Cádiz - como se puede observar la filigrana
está mas centrada y es mas estrecha. Le acompaña otra marca de llegada
en el frente Oct.bre - PE.44 de Cádiz
- que indica el mes, se utilizó muy pocos meses y siempre en
compañía de la anterior -PE.43-. La marca 6R
pasa por ser la marca de porteo no manuscrita mas antigua utilizada en
España. Corresponde a una Carta enviada de Génova a Cádiz de 1756
recientemente subastada por 
La
Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia impartirá desde
noviembre de 2005 hasta junio de 2006 el próximo ejercicio académico,
el citado curso. Los que pasen las pruebas establecidas
obtendrán el Título Universitario de Experto Profesional
en Filatelia y Numismática.
